In May of 2017, David M. Tyrrell and Christopher H. Logan were invited speakers at the Kansas Health Care Stabilization Fund Defense Counsel Seminar. Their presentation titled “MMPA & KCPA: OMG!” explored the use of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act and Kansas Consumer Protection Act in medical cases.
