Courtney joined the firm in 2024 as an associate. Her primary practice areas include civil litigation and administrative law. Prior to joining the firm, Courtney was the General Counsel for the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Courtney’s experience at the Board of Healing Arts leaves her with specialized knowledge as to how to navigate administrative proceedings for physicians, chiropractors and other allied health professionals. In addition, Courtney brings with a wealth of knowledge concerning health care regulation, licensing, disciplinary matters, civil litigation and appeals. Prior to working at the Board of Healing Arts, Courtney was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Stephen D. Hill of the Kansas Court of Appeals. Courtney will continue to utilize her knowledge and skills in the defense of health care providers in medical negligence litigation. She will also utilize her experience in the representation of health care professionals in licensure and disciplinary actions involving complaints or investigations by state administrative agencies.
Courtney lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her son.
